As opposed to the EasyCon XLR connectors (which appear to be discontinued), the XX Crimp series requires an actual crimping tool. I've heard that crimped connections tend to be better than soldered ones (as with Canare RCAP), so I was wondering if anyone has given them a try, or has the equipment necessary to do so.
