I'm pissed that they aren't finished with this thing yet. Even on thier homepage they still say Q1 as thier estimated time of compleation.

When DID THIS HAPPEN? I the only reason why I'm waiting for this is FLAC support and line out. But the iAudio stuff looks great too.

Line out is not present here. In the big comparison list, the space for lineout is left blank. Overall the page is very confusing.

Both of those items are from October, and it doesn't seem that a decision was made. I'm skeptical that a company would add a S/PDIF in/out and not a line out, simply because more people use a line out than an S/PDIF out.

I hope you're right but it seems quite questionable to me. Luckily for me, I am happy with my current setup for now, so I can wait until the Neuros III is released before I pass judgement. At this point it does seem rather pointless to pass judgement on it, since it most likely won't be out for a long time.

Like many of you I am looking to buy a DAP and want to wait for the Neuros. But I don't want to sit around and wait indefinitely.

In this article it says the Neuros III DAC (digital audio computer) is supposed to ship in the first quarter of 2007, but this date is open to change.
