Hi all,
Wish you all a good mood today.

I just got my Freya+ preamp (Schiit audio) recently replacing my Gustard p26. Freya+ sounds good but not there yet, so I decided to run into the rabbit hole --- rolling the tube.

I am looking for some 6sn7 tubes (good but not crazy ones) to create a sound like:

--- NOT forward sound (I hate the close-to-face sound, prefer something that sounds a bit far away).
--- wide & holographic soundstage
--- focused imaging

If these three objectives can be achieved, I do not care about a bit sacrificing other characters such as timbre.

This is for a computer-based nearfield setup (USB - T+A dac8 dsd - Nad c275b33 - B&W 607s2).

Based on my searching, RCA 6sn7 vt231, or Sylvania Vt231 could be a good choice? There are rare comments on the third objective (forward or far away sound). So please guys, help me a bit on that.

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!
