Finding it more difficult to watch movies at "desirable" listening levels in my HT room, and am thinking a nice set of cans for this application would save my relationship

Have looked at the Senn HD555 and 595, and was wondering if others have been using these for watching movies, and how they perform. Is the 595 that much better than the 555 (I can get the 555 for around $75 on Ebay, and a brand new 595 for $150 with a local pickup deal here in Chicago). Are there any other suggestions you might have? I plan to run the phones directly from the receiver, and really don't want to mess with a dedicated amp.

I prefer my HD-595s over my HD-650s and RS-1s for movie watching. Their slightly forward presentation, good bass and dark side sound signature makes them ideal for movies. Plus, they're easy to drive.
As to how the 555 and 595 compare, I can't say, really. I've heard the 555 only briefly, not enough to give an opinion. But there are many threads on here saying that the 555 is very close to the 595.

My vote go's to the 555, Best cans on the market for around $100.
If you've got the money? the 595's can be had for $150. off Ebay.

There everthing the 555's are with more refind sound with little better build quality.
