Just wanted to say tnx a lot for your help..
sry i haven't responded sooner, i went to hear the SR80i at some store.. enjoyed them over-all but in some songs the highs were really annoying (maybe it's just me).
anyway, i've decided to go for the MS-1i hopefully they'll deliver better highs.

It's definitely not just you. Good thing you didn't go for the SR225i.

As much as Grado sounds like a great choice, did you consider taking it slow, to say, Koss KSC75's? Supposedly good for everything you need. Idk about classic tho.
