Well, I broke my Clip Zip today. It fell out of my pocket and I accidentally stepped on it, breaking the screen. I can't even get it to play any music when going by memory/screencaps of the menu. My Clip+ before that had a headphone jack that stopped working a couple of months after I brought it.
I don't care about looks, I care about sound. MicroSDHC expansion is a plus, but if not it'd have to be >40gb
I could get a Creative ZEN M300 or Fuze for about the same price as another Clip Zip if I wanted to change things up, but I don't see why I'd get the M300 or Fuze over the Clip Zip.
If I double what a Clip Zip would cost I could get a Creative X-Fi 3
If I double what an X-Fi 3 would cost I could get a HM-601 or Kenwood Media Keg
What I'm asking is whether it's worth spending the extra money to "upgrade" or whether I should just get another Clip Zip and use the money saved for a DAC or amp or more headphones
