I need some advice from the video game experts on this board.

My ten year old son's raison d'etre is the Wii - I want to make sure I get him one. Is there a reliable way to make sure I can get one? Anybody know any pre-order sites or other trick that will work? I am new to this process and could use all the help I can get.

Go to your local eb games and put in a preorder there.

its not coming out for awhile, at LEAST nov 19, but we still dont know the date for sure. They shouldnt have the problems MS or Sony will with supply, so just preorder at your local games store when they start that. You shouldnt have a problem.

EB Games probably has it on presale by now -- there's one at every mall I've been to (in the US anyway).

EB and Gamestop aren't doing it instore yet. I called today after the Nintendo announcements this morning to check.

Your best bet is to refresh the www.gamestop.com site daily... I'm sure it'll be up there soon.

My EB managers have been saying for a good while that most likely they won't take preorders for either ps3 or wii.
