I'm looking for a place to download free lossless files?  Unfortunately I'm not old enough to have a credit card of my own to pay for downloads, but I really like the quality in lossless audio, what websites or software would you recommend (if there's any)?

Legally? - If you like live music you can get free stuff at the internet archive.

Other than that there are plenty of ways to get free music but I don't think you'll get any help from very many here. I'm fairly new so I'm not going to head in that direction but I'm sure there's a cozy little "bay" around the internet somewhere that's got 1 or 2 tracks...

Sorry, I forgot you were originally looking for lossless, I strayed a bit on that but it's free non the less.

Yeah lossless is a preference, but I can settle with "high bitrate" mp3, thanks anyways!

You can rip them lossless or mp3 or any other format you want
