Hey guys I need a good set of studio headphones I can produce/mix/master EDM (electro/dutch/house) in.

I have a few in mind but go ahead and shoot what you would get for $150 or less (can be open/closed back).

I've read a lot of good things about the V-moda m100 in regards to producing/listening to EDM.  I know there not under $150, but if you own a pair please give me your input.  Are they worth the 300 bucks in your opinion?

I would stick with tried and true studio headphones like Sony MDR 7506. Or DT 770 might be better for EDM so you don't over compensate. I've seen Trent Reznor of NIN use the 770's so they must be good.

Hi,
I found VERY nice phones at Sears... that's correct Sears. I purchased two(2) pair of Nakamichi phones. One large ear cup and one small cup. The small cup is $10.00, the large one $15.00. I have been an audiophile for 40 years, this is one of the best deals ever. Go take a look?
