Hi head-fi nerds and peeps I need your thoughts and opinions,
I currently own a beyer dt 990 pro 250 ohms and I feel I need an upgrade.
I also have Oriolus mk2 iem and a portable dac ~ pioneer xpa 700 dac/amp
I am looking forward with the new beyer dt 1990 pro, hd800/hd800s
What you guys think? maybe the hd800s price will be my limit unless i look for used

I haven't listened to a pair of DT1990 pro but I've read a lot of positive reviews on it. I have listened to the HD800 and to be honest I really didn't like them. They didn't line up with the personal sound signature that I like. But if you are interested in the DT1990 check out this youtube review that compares them to the HD800. It might help you with your purchasing decision.
