I might be able to snag a pair of A2000X's at a really good price. My only concern is that there are not a whole lot of reviews of them so I'm not really sure what I'm getting myself into. I'm currently using a pair of AD900X's and from what I'm understanding the A2000X is supposed to be more neutral. But does that mean that the magical AT mids are completely gone? And how much of an improvement should I be expecting in general?
 
I'm currently using a Meridian Explorer DAC. The A2000X is rated at 42 ohms / 101 dB so I don't believe this is going to give me any issues.
