I currently have a pair of shure 840s, but I just feel kinda silly walking around school with them. I love the sound of them though. I mainly listen to rock. They need to have good/a lot of bass but good mids and highs too. Budget is ~$300. Source is an archos 5 internet tablet with mostly 320kbps mp3. If it makes a difference I have small ears too.
Thanks

I have yet to try any Archos product, but from what I read the sound quality of these is, average?

I herd the ie8s have tons of midbass, not really bass so those are probably out. Im not sure about the shure 530s either. Some reviews say they have great bass and others say they have none. But I did hear they have great mids. I havn't herd too much about the klipschs yet. Im leaning towards the mctg, mctc, miles davis or um3xright now.
