Ok here is my situation...


I have a DEJ1000 and am not happy with it...

I bought it because of my MD and I wanted the optical out, its nice and all, but i dont think its worth having just for that. the hiss on this thing through my amp and cans kills me. and it doesnt sound the best...

I am thinking of maybe offering it up for trade, but i dont know what for, here is where i need help.

I kida dont know what to get. i also dont have any extra money to put up so i would be asking for a no questions asked trade.


i am thinking of getting an older PCDP, but i dont know where to start. i read all of the reviews up there, but i still dont know what to get.


for a dej1000(immaculate condition) what would be a good PCDP for rock?

if you are into DIY maybe you could get a sony d25s + cash and try the mods?
