Need some Help with these Monser Turbine Golds

So, based on the reviews here, I decided to spring for a set of Monster Turbine Golds. I ordered about 2 weeks ago from Amazon. Received my pair and the right side earbuds literally fell apart within a few hours of breaking in. I was SHOCKED that I could spend close to 200 on a pair of earbuds and within hours they fall apart.
 
In any case I contacted Amazon and they promptly sent me a replacement pair. However now with the replacement pair the volume level is uneven. I've tried it on a macbook, a dell desktop, iphone and ipod nano. All had the same result.
 
My Dilemma is, I'm a bit hesitant to contact Amazon, seeing as they already sent me one replacement pair, and I'm wondering if i contact monster if they'll count that as my one "full replacement" covered under my lifetime warranty. 
 
what do you guys think?

I can't believe that after those two incidents, you would ask this...

But, To each their own.

Make Amazon make good on the sale.
