Hi guys. I am currently looking for some headphones to replace my current Creative IEM(can't remember the model but it's one the lower end ones).
I am looking at Sennheiser HD 202 but I am open to more suggestions(probably other headphones/IEM around that price). Good isolation is a main priority for me.

I am currently using an Ipod Classic and listens to a variety of genres from metal to psychedelic pop.

My HD 202 don't isolate all that well nor sound all that good. Mostly like ipod buds but with more bass. If you are serious about isolation go with some Peltor 90541 they have built in radio with input for an mp3 player.

I don't think any headphones isolate all that well unless you go the NR route which I don't think isolate high fq very well.

I have about 60USD to spend. The earphone doesn't really have to isolate that great but looking for an upgrade for my current one.

I have the open grado sr 60 for 69 bucks and they sound fantastic. Maybe some Audio Technical ATH-Pro5 would serve you well or ATH-FC700s

A great way to increase SQ without spending anything is just to go to apple lossless format when you rip your CDs
