I'd like to run a balanced cable with a Sony Walkman NW-ZX300 and perhaps the forthcoming ZX507.

I've never tried balanced and don't know what it entails. On my Pono, there are two 3.5 mm ports but from what I can see on the Sony, which I do not own yet, the ports seem to be different sizes. Perhaps they are the same size.

Help and feel free to dumb it down for me because I don't get this stuff....and don't really understand what a balanced cable is.

you need 4.4mm balanced cable with mmcx conectors, there is a ton on aliexpress

So after looking around, I decided to go with the campfire audio litz cable. It will be here on Tuesday along with a Sony Walkman zx300
