Awesome! How bulky are they and do they isolate well? Could they be used on the road?

That's too bad. I bought the AKG K545 and really like them so far. They were well below what I was willing to spend, but since I got such a good deal on them, I said "heck, why not?"

Ah very good - I picked up the NAD HP50s recently and am really enjoying them - how are you finding the k545s?

The K545s are great. They are super portable and well built. The sound is very enjoyable; however, I would have liked a bit more bass quantity. Quality is pretty good IMO.
 
Overall, I am really happy with the purchase.
