I'm not going to be buying this for a while. I've got an HD660S coming in the mail soon!
However, I'm going to have days where I don't feel like doing critical listening. Those days where you just feel like kicking your shoes off and listening to your favorite songs and not worry about harshness, fatigue, etc. Something that will make my music shine regardless of recording, mixing, and mastering quality.
I already have a few headphones. Takstar Pro 80. The mids on these are extremely flat, which I hate. AKG K371. It's great, but it feels more like a critical listening set. Both are closed, but I want something open.
I will be driving this with an Atom stack to start, but am also open to amp suggestions. I have been recommended the Samson SR-850 and the Koss UR40. I am also curious about Philips sets, namely the Fidelio X2HR and SHP-9600.
