I am an investor (or former active head-fier) and we are looking at opportunities in the high-end audio space.

I am looking for an acoustics expert to give me technical background on transducer design - including, but not limited to:
-difference between dynamic and balanced armature designs and amount of expertise that crosses over between the two designs
-product offerings from different manufacturers
-different transducer designs for different applications (earbuds versus headsets versus hearing aids, etc.) - who is good at what and why
-overview of competing microphone technologies, especially as it pertains to cellular phones
