Hi guys, right now i have an option to buy a brand new senn HD 800 and brand new senn IE800 for $1300 in total.
It's a bit out of my budget right now but i can handle it, the deals available until Dec 11 this years.
I have a Audeze LCD2F right now but drive it through my friend's Amp because i dont have one... Planning to buy a Lyr 2 and a modi multibit.
So What should i do, Buy the Senn combos because the deals is not forever and find something to drive them both later or buy the Lyr 2 & modi combo,
Thanks for your helps.

If you like the LCD's sound signature, best chances are you won't like the HD800 since it's much brighter, less intimate and significantly lighter in the bass.

If youre into the warm laidback sound of Audeze then the HD800 will grate on your last nerve....

try instead

HD650
Nighthawk(which is currently going for almost half-off til the 30th)

With both responses. The 800's are a polar opposite of planars.

If your budget is $1300, I'd skip the Lyr2. Step it up to the Mjolnir2, and a mimby. I'm currently using a Mjolnir1, and it easily beats the Lyr, with the best tubes available.

Ah. Thanks for all replys, i will skip HD 800 and buy my own amp/DAC.
To Guido that recommend mjolnir 2, in my country it  almost  $1000 because of the exchange rate (+shipping), and ATM nobody have used mjolnir 2 fs.

You may want to look into The Focal Elear....early reports Ive read are saying its very similar to LCD-2 sound but "demolishes it" in almost every regard except for sub bass extension.

I want the HD800 because of the deals, $1300 for HD800 + IE 800, both are brand new is pretty good.
Yeah because the sound sign of hd800 almost opposite to lcd -2, i will skip them both and buy my own Amp instead.
Not looking for focal elear or something that expensive, because my lcd-2 is serve me well enough.
Thanks for your inputs monsterzero.
