I got a pair of 18+ but I think they lack bass, what other options should I consider, I was thinking about the ue live. The gear is simple just using cobalt DAC from my iPhone.

I seem to hear alot of mixed feedback on the UE live. They're running 30% off the live right now so you may wanna jump on that quick. If you're willing to pay full retail, the 64 audio a12t is the go to for alot of people in the 2k range. That being said no one has a 7 day turn around like UE does without paying a crazy amount for a "rush" order. I tried the universals and my impressions were as follows,
UE6- Great bass slam and good detail retrieval
UE18-meh bass, fantastic detail retrieval
UE Live- hard slamming bass, possibly less detail retrieval(bass bled into the mids and highs)

Keep in mind I tried and sample set of one and I tried it off my iphone x cause I forgot my dap that day. There is a chance the live does better getting some amp love. If you wanna stick with the UE brand then I'd say go with the UE live while its 30% off. Fantastic deal.
