Hi,

It's been some time since I've purchased a set of earbuds, and times have sure changed. These are my requirements/desires for the perfect earbuds:

- Vol/track adjust/mic capabilities (not mandatory, but really desireable)
- Works with Galaxy S4
- Needs to stay in ear securely while running/performing sports activities

I've looked at a few Sennheiser's, MEElectronics, and the Polk Ultrafit 3000, but they seem to be geared towards iPhone users.

I plan to use this while running outside around the track, as well as while just walking or sitting. Weatherproof/resistance would be nice, to still be comfortable while sweating.

I've got maybe $100 to spend on this, but I'd be happy with something in the $30 range too.

Thanks,
Dave

The Ultimate Ears 500m are only $15 online right now, and the UE600's are only ~40 on amazon. Great value for the price, especially since both have mics. Not sure if they're volume compatible with an Android, as most earphones are only compatible with the iPhone... but hey, a great starting dynamic IEM (UE500's) you can't really go wrong for $15!

I would check out some Yurbuds.

If you prefer wireless (which I do), then check these out: http://www.sportearz.com/reviews/yurbuds-focus-wireless-sport-earphones-review/

Also, JBL just launched a pair that are specifically made for Android: http://www.jbl.com/estore/jbl/us/products/Synchros-Reflect-A/REFLECT-A_JBL_US?skuId=JBLREFLECTABLK_JBL_US&searchMode=regularProductOnly&sCatId=cat720039
