Need Q40/Zune help

Okay, I am going to come off like a SUPER-noob. I didn't even know that they MADE portable amps until bout a week ago! I know, I suck... Anyways, I am going to be buying some M-Audio Q40's in the near future, and I was curious was portable amp would be good for them? I'm thinking $100-150 will be my absolute limit. I have a Zune 80, I don't know if that helps...

You know, the Q40 is known for performing quite well without an amp. I searched this portable amp forum for "Q40", and this was the only thread that came up. Here is a search of that long Q40 thread for "amp" that might help. You should be able to read about what amps Q40 owners are using. I suggest getting a portable amp that has a rechargeable battery instead of a 9v. I'm not up to speed on the latest portable amps or what amps work well with the Q40, so hopefully others will post here. Reading in this portable amp forum may help too.

Oh, I know. One of the main reasons that the Q40 is appealing to me is that it doesn't need an amp. I am just curious about future applications.
