Hello all,
 
I'm looking for new earbuds to use with my phone and with my laptop. I mostly have FLAC rips on my phone, though I don't know if that would make a big difference. I also like to watch HD movies on my laptop.
I listen to a lot of orchestra, or video game and movie soundtracks.
I may be able to extend that budget, but for now I'm trying to find something around $40 or less.

I aasume you mean IEMs and not tradional earbuds.

I'd second the Soundmagic PL-30's. If you want iPod style ear buds though I strongly recommend a set of Yuin PK3's.
