Hi!
I bought a pair of Sleek Audio CT6 CIEMs a few years ago, and they are great!
... except for the cables, which broke after about a year.
I bought one extra cable from them (for 25€!) and it was ****. It broke after a month!
So now I got these really quite amazing headphones and no way to use them.
I won't buy another cable from Sleek Audio, obviously.
I've searched rather extensively, but it seems I'm out of luck, there are no replacement cables except the official ones and some obscure, even more expensive ones from Japan.
Anyone got any ideas how to rescue these great-sounding babies?
Mod them to use other connectors, maybe?
If so, what other connectors are there? Ones with high-quality, not too expensive, cables, ideally!
Thanks!
