To resurrect an old thread. I picked up a pair of these for a couple of buck at a thrift store.
They look to be vintage 70's cans and compared to my AD700's, have a very dark compressed feeling V-shaped presentation. Bass and upper mids are exaggerated, they sound congested, they don't extend very fall either low nor high.
They seem to work well, unsurprisingly with some 60-70's classic rock and some jazz. I'm pretty happy for the $3 I've spent
The pads are hard rubbery plastic so they get hot after a while.
