I am looking for a very good site that will explain everything! I am trying to learn something new, and then once I know enough then build a mint amp!

And so I need to learn what a capacitor and what all that other stuff is and does, and how to read the schematics along with all the other stuff I would need to know. I searched mint the DIY section, and mostly have just found what people have done, nothing that explains all the little bits to me.

About all I have going for me right now, is I semi know how to solder!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or direction towards help!!

If you're just looking for general terms, just ask! everyone here is very helpful.

I learned everything I know from a "Industrial Electricity" textbook I found, copywrite 1952 (haha), but you may find it useful to invest in an electronics book. It's nice to have at your fingertips whenever you have a question.

I'm still looking for a good website with basic info, but I'm looking for stuff on transitors more than anything.
