Requirements for Isolation - A lot of isolation. Using these while in the back of a car someone else is driving and maybe in a classroom setting

Preferred tonal balance - I like trebel.

Past headphones - Tennmak Pros. I loved how strong they were but the bass was too much.

Preferred Music - Thrash and death metal. Example 1 Example 2 Example 3

For IEMs, the isolation will be highly dependent to your ear canal depth and shape. I think you can have a try with Final Audio E2000 and E3000. They sit in ear canal deep and well for most of the people.

Since you like treble, you might look into a KZ ZS5 or ZS6. Both emphasize treble. Maybe read about them and see what you think. It is possible one of these could work for you. Both are in your price range.

Not for me but my friends always comment that I have good tolerance in treble. So you might need to have an audition to find out
