I need help in deciding which set of cans to get. My current options are the MDR-V6/7506, T50rp, NVX Audio XPT100, Crossfade LP, and SE215. I listen to jazz, ambient, house, IDM, classical, hip-hop, and folk.

I would cross off the crossfade lp unless the majority of your music is electronic and hip pop.
Most prefer the prodj100 over the mdrv6 btw.

I do listen to quite a bit of electronic, but not much EDM. I think I will cross them off because of the over-emphasized bass... How are the v6s different from the prodj100s?

I own the prodj100 with m50 pads but i haven't heard the mdrv6
