This is the first, and I swear to God the LAST time I try tube rolling!
I have a Millet Hybrid amp that I noticed some static on this morning (the left channel). I decided to whip out my multimeter that came with it to check the bias. As it turns out, it was a little low. But then I got the crazy idea to swap out the tubes altogether.
So I did. With not much luck. I've tried two different sets of tubes, and the most front one doesn't seem to want to go in all the way. I've tried adjusting the bias on the far tube with varying degrees of luck. However, the front most tube (the one that doesn't seem to want to go in all the way) has a strange reading. Bare with me, I've never done this sort of thing before, let alone used a multimeter before! But the reading I got from the front most tube is 1 .
What the hell?
