I wanted to start using rockbox but I am having difficulty setting it up; I listen to a lot of metal, rock and roll music and a little hip hop and dance music. Just need some guidance as to what settings to use to get the most of my music.
 
set up: piqq headphones, ipod nano 2g, PA2V2

Bump, i'm in the same situation, i got a sansa fuze today and after installing rockbox, i read about EQ in the forums and i don't get it, is good to tweak the setup? as the OP i listen Metal, Rock and sometimes drum & bass. I got JVC FX101 and i'm looking for the perfect headphones too.

I just got the Clip Zip. I'm still thinking about whether to rockbox it. The Sansa s/w seems to be fine except for the folder refresh rate.

I, too, just bought a Clip+. How can tell if I've even succeeded in rockboxing it?
