basically I bought a travel guitar.. brand is traveler and model is MK-II steel string..

It can play through headphones or an amp, plugging my speakers thorugh the headphone jack sounds really good! and volume is easy to adjust between the on board and the speakers, but when i plug headphones in, it takesa little bump and the volume goes up WAYYy too loud, and the sound isn't good, sounds like someone turned their ipod up way to high or something. (TO BE PRECISE IT SOUNDS "MUDDY" compared to when connected to my audioengine A5 speakers..)

btw the headphones are JH audio 5's... i tried with a cheap sony headphone and it did the same thing,,

one more thing, for the headphones and speakers i have to use a 1/8'' to1/4'' adapter, because the plug on the guitar is 1/4''....

how can i have better control over volume?? or what can I do in this situation???

PLEASE HELP! otherwise I am probably gonna sell it... :/
