I am having trouble finding the right sound and a way to explain what I am looking for. I have the DP-X1 and have ordered Shure SE535 and I think they may work. My problem I need help with is finding something that can take the balanced output and sound good in the highs. I want to hear the cymbals crash and as they fade away. I don't want anything missing. I don't care as much about the lows but would like the lows there mids are fine also. What I need is something that can make every treble visible but not harsh. If anyone has suggestions it would be great. The key is the balanced output from Onkyo similar to A&K. I ordered the PM-3 and a balanced cable is being made but I am afraid the Shure SE535 Red Japan version may not do it. I just would like some other options in case they don't work out. I have combed the forum so much I am confused and I am not sure what to get. I apologize for not knowing how to explain what I am looking for. Maybe this will be enough to get some help.
