I've been using Superlux HD681 Evo as my primary headphones for almost a year now (with velour pads and inner felt disc removed). But now, what I had been fearing from the beginning has started to happen: that (stupid?) male connector is giving up at the root:

(Its basically tearing off just near the cup covering). Could someone help me with regard to how I should fix this? I tried to fix it with epoxy (Araldite), but it didn't hold, and the tearing continues.

I have an HD681 Evo as well. I have also worried about that junction but so far, mine remains intact. I have had luck with gorilla glue in similar situations in the past. That would be my only thought for you.
