So, what I'm looking for is an integrated amplifier for speakers, which would run some small bookshelf speakers, and it also needs to have a great headphone output.  Its for a setup that would be used 50% for speakers, 50% for headphone listening.

I used my HD650's today on a NAD C326 (the one they had connected at the time) amplifier in the hi-fi store, and while it had plenty of power (crazy loud at 11 o'clock),  it sounded kinda bassy and muddy, too warm for my taste.   They salesman in store said NAD amps are warm by nature, and maybe I should try Marantz ,Denon or Yamaha instead. He also said that majority of new integrated amps will have more enough power to run any headphone. I was actually kinda surprised by how beefy the entry line NAD felt. Very potent and "big" sound.

Do you guys have any experience with newer integrated amps driving good headphones?
I'm willing to spend up to 600-700$ for the amp. I prefer it neutral, maybe leaning slightly towards the bright side.
