Im really new to the audio community and i know next to nothing, but later this year im making a new pc and i wanted to get good audio from it.
My plan was to use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 USB Audio Interface with an Audio-Technica AT2035 Large Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone for my mic.
For headphones i was going to use my ATHm50x, with a dac and amp unitl i could afford better headphones.
I think the mic input has real-time-monitoring, which i wanted but i couldnt tell if it had an amp/dac for headphones.
would i need to run the signal from the monitoring thing to my amp/dac?
should i get the schiit amp/dac (modi 2/magni 2)
and would i still be able to listen to the sound from my computer while monitoring through the focusrite 2i4?
(also kinda wondering if i have to make the monitoring signal go through amp/dac would I still be hearing the mic as i speak)
sorry if some of theese questions/concerns are silly, im really new to audio stuff
