I am thinking of getting an AKG Q701 and i was reading about its requirement of a good DAC/Amp. Well, i currently own an Fiio E17K Alpen 2 and was wondering it it will be enough for it. The AKG seem to perfectly fit my music hearing style (analytical open cups, large soundstage, quick bass with pronounced mids and treble for instrumental music as well as gaming) so it would be a shame if i end up not being able to run it as it is meant to be. I searched the forums but couldn't find a conclusive answer. Anyone here can help me on it? Also if the Fiio is not strong enough for it, i would love to hear of alternative headphones having a similar style in the same budget range.
