I ordered a new pair of UE 700 7 months ago for $75 from amazon. The wire has come apart at the jack and it is also coming apart on the right earbud. Logitech wants to send me a pair of UE 600 iv for a replacement because the 700 is no longer made. I've never heard the 600iv, but it has one less driver than the UE 700. The price Is also about the same. Is there a big difference in sound quality between the two? I love the sound stage and the instrument seperation. on the 700s. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How's the bass on the 600, the 700 didn't have too much and I wouldn't want any less.

@Davidcotton I didn't ink of that. Do they honor the manufacturers warranty?

don't know but got to be worth a shot (not fit for use etc)

The only other thing is to send it in to BTG-audio for recabling.

UE might be able to give me a refund, they have to check with their department first. If they do I think I'll get the Rocket Sounds R-50. I believe it has the same two BA TWRK drivers per ear as the UE 700, so I'm thinking it will sound the same or close to it.

After I let Logitech know I'd like a refund, they stopped responding. I might have too open a new ticket with them. Does anyone know if amazon honors manufactures warranties?
