Need help with 2.0/2.1 computer speakers!!

What does bi-amped means? do i need an amp?

No, it just means separate amps for the woofer and the tweeter. If you scroll down:

Thanks btw about the cables, i read in the comments that they dont provide cables? then what kind of cables am i suppose to get?

yea would be going straight from my computer. anyway what about the AV30? are they good?

You would probably have more need for a subwoofer if you get the AV30. Read the reviews on all of them, starting with the more negative ones.

I had heard the Edifier 1900TIIs and AV40s and the former actually sounded better so i would not settle for the AV30 if i were you

if your in the uk amazon.co.uk do the c2 ive got the slightly older version and they do sound good.

If thats the case i would most probably be getting the AV40. The edifier looks too big for my desktop..

Nope im in singapore. hmm the s330D looks like the perfect speaker for me.. Hope its available in singapore.

I've finally narrowed down to 3 choices mainly, Swan D1080, AV40 or the edifier s330D. Has the price of d1080  dropped down to my price range yet? if not its either the av40 or s330d. Anyone can help me make the decision? i really cant decide anymore... narrowing down to this 3 choices took alot out of me already. I hope this 3 speakers arent very big coz they need to squeeze together with my 24inch monitor and cpu on my table and its getting abit too congested haha

Mines a bit cluttered i just have the stereo speakers both sides of my laptop and the amp and woofer on the the floor under the desk if you can track down the c2 or c3 they have a credit card remote.

Just checked the back of my satellites and they can be wall mounted if space is a problem i should imagine its the same with the other edifier stuff.
