Hi guys!

Hi currently have some MS-1s, but I'm getting some DT880 (05), K701 and SR325, so I now I need and headphone amp to drive those (DT880 and K701) could you please advise me something, as I dont not much about HP amps?

Budget about ~80USD (but willing to listen to smt till ~125$ if worth it)

Cheers and thanks guys!

im using the Little Dot Micro +, it doubles as a rather decent desktop amp, as well as a nice portable.

I too am getting more confused on the whole amp subject as I do more and more research. With my current setup, I am very close to going to no amp for now. I thought I had a nice find and now I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My budget for an amp is >$150. My current setup is in my sig.

I would not sink so much money into multiple headphones and then scrimp/"cheap-out" on the amp. Get one set of the headphones you've listed and allocate about $300 for a decent amp to decently drive them. With the DT880/2003, I had great success with the HeadFive ($250), Darkvoice 336i ($300) and G&W T-2.6F ($350), with the 336i being my favorite.

So, your spending 800.00 or so on headphones but only 80.00 on a amp..ugh.. I don't get your logic.. You'd be better served just getting the 701 & an Heed amp/RSA hornet/VHP-2/XIN Macro 4..

so, what do you think of this:

micro DAC -> hornet -> k701 | DT880 | sr325??

hi,
I have a pair of sennheiser 650 and i begin a project to use DACt CT 101, ct2 attenuator and perhaps a CT 102 power supply. In france it's easy to find this.
I suppose it can drive your headphone
