Unfortunately my Shure SCL3 were stolen last Monday therefore I need to replace them. I've been reading on this site since Monday afternoon and now feel more unsure about what to get than ever
I liked the SQ and isolation provided by the SCL3, but now after reading I feel like I may have been missing something with my Shure earphones.
I had the opportunity to try the Klipsch Image S4i, which sound good but are a little too heavy in bass for me. I've been thinking of getting the Ultimate Ears SuperFi3, but as I stated earlier I'm really unsure.
I do a lot of flying and want an earphone that will block as much ambient noise as possible while still providing good overall SQ. I also work out regularly and my earphones need to be able to handle that as well. My price range is up to $150 (less is better of course). Also, what's the general consensus on Comply Foam ear tips? I had these for my Shure earphones and liked them. Are they a personal preference thing, or a general no-no?
Thanks in advance for any input!
