Well, I have tested this whole ASIO thing out and am quite impressed, I tweaked the EQ in Winamp and got it so that the sound being outputted is much fuller sounding and not so airy, while maintaining a higher level of clarity.
That being said, I know bashing Creative's drivers may be bandwagon-behavior, but there is a reason for my doing so. There are problems with my System that I have traced back to both Creative's hardware and software that I just can't get rid of, no matter how much searching and "fixing" I do. I know I will be upgrading my card at some point, but I am still not completely certain as to if I will be going with the Xonar or Prelude, and at this point I believe I am still leaning more towards the Xonar.
Thanks for the advice on the whole ASIO thing though
