If you are willing to look at the idea of a Transportable (ie not battery operated), you should have a serious look at the CTH: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f6/ver...id-amp-398839/ A few of us were involved with the prototype and it sounds very good, and is a Tube rolling dream..
