Hey all. I'm sure I'm suffering from the upgrade bug, i'm thinking of upgrading from an AKG601 to a HD650. What do you guys think? What improvements can I expect?

I'm using a creek obh-21 by the way. Source is either from PC (x-fi extreme music) and marantz sacd player. I listen mostly to jazz / female vocals.

Please give me your thoughts on this. Thanks

Try to find a used pair of AKG K400 on eBay or eBay.de, I think they can't be beaten for the price, ever... With your amp, I think it would shine !
