Hello!
I'm a newbie to the world of headphone amps (and to high-end headphones as well...) and I need some advice in buying a hedphone amp and headphones. Were I live it's not to many shops who carry headphone amps, so it's not easy to know what to get.
I have read quite a few threads on this forum and gotten many useful insights, but still... It's a difficult world to enter!
Do anyone of you headphone gurus out there have a good recomandation for a good combo (amp + phones) and any opinion on how they compare to a supermini V4.0 + Etys ER-6 (wich I have) or Sony Eggos (D66sl - wich I'm waiting for)? I really want a better sounding setup at home cause it only there I can sink "thru" my sofa and really LISTEN to the music... I would appreciate a argumentation for why thats a good combo - it makes it easier to decide...
I'm thinking of about $3-500 for the amp and up to $200 for the phones.
