I bought a JBL 220 earphone on a local online auction (without any warranty, no original case, just the earphone and eartips) and it arrived today.
The first impression was: the bulid is so cheapy...I don't know how a genuine JBL 220 sounds like, but after searching for pictures on the net and compared them to mine, I found that the filters in the nozzles should be black in colour, while mine is white
In fact the filter in the left side nozzle seems to be teared off.
And checking the spec of JBL 220, the cable length is stated 111cm (3.6 feet), but mine is approximately 122cm.
Attached are some pictures of mine JBL 220. Can anyone help me to identify whether it is a fake one? PLEASE!
EDIT: The length of the left side cable (from the Y-split) is longer than the right one's.
