I had someone give me a large bag of tubes.  I have looked up the data on them but still not sure which of these are useful in making a tube amp and which are misc.  I do know that I have two 12au7a that I do know that I can use for a headphone amp.

Here is the list of the others:
(I forgot to write down which tube is by which manufacturer, mostly RCA and Raytheon though)

6aq6 - twin diode - high mu triode
6gf7a - twin triode
12bh7a - medium mu twin triode
6s4a - medium mu triode
6j6 - medium mu triode
6sn7gtb - medium mu twin triode
6sc7 - high mu twin triode
6sl7gt - high mu twin triode
6aw8a - high mu triode - sharp cutoff pentode
6gh8a - medium mu - sharp cutoff pentode
6u8a - medium mu triode - sharp cutoff pentode
6x8 - medium mu triode - sharp cutoff pentode
6hb7 - medium mu triode - sharp cutoff pentode
1u5 - diode - sharp cutoff pentode
6am8a - diode - sharp cutoff pentode
12by7a - sharp cutoff pentode
6ag5 - sharp cutoff pentode
6ak5 - sharp cutoff pentode
6cb6a - sharp cutoff pentode
6ce5 - sharp cutoff pentode
12sk7 - remote cutoff pentode
6ba6 - remote cutoff pentode
6aq5 - beam pentode
6ak6 - power amplifier pentode
6v6gt - beam pentode
6cu6 - beam power amplifier
6bn6 - gated beam pentode
1r5 - pentagrid converter
5u4gb - full wave rectifier
6w4gt - half wave rectifier
6x4 full wave rectifier
1x2a - half wave rectifier

What I am looking for is can I use these in an amplfieer section or power supply section.  I have not worked with tubes before, I used to be an electronics tech, but solid state.

I would like to drive my senn hd600 and hd558 with an amp made from some of these.  I do have a fiio e17/e9 but want to try a tube amp, I can work from a schematic, just not good ad designing circuits anymore.

Thanks for any help ya'll can give.

This is not to say others don't have use but if you are after schematics, these are the tubes you will most likely find uses. Some of the sweep tubes may also have good use. The tubes are a mixture of small signal power tubes, output tubes (and ones which are both of these!) and rectifiers, even the rectifiers show a beefy power tube and a small pre rectifier tube! The 6GF7 might make agood headphone amp tube. Good luck!
