Hey people. Is there any need for getting any headphone amp for these ATH's.
 
I have creative sound card installed on system and was checking the reviews on FIIO.
 
Will that make these sound better

The m50s are really forgiving.  I tried them vs the 840s in store and the 840s sounded like a better ath-m50 to me.

If you don't mind, could you try them out on a bass heavy song (hip-hop, rap) and tell me how they sound? I am interested in them as well.

The bass is quite good on these headphones. However since I am not much into listening high bass songs I am not sure if you would be satisfied with this.

What about the FIIO amp is it worth investing money on this for the ATH's 50.

Been looking into buying these? Are they good all around cans? Listen to almost every type of music from time to time.

generally suited better for modern music i guess, doesn't do too bad with slower recordings though.

Based on these comments, I would recommend looking into the KRK KNS8400.
