Guys, I need some help with my current setup.
Before I get started, here is my equipment:
Beyer DT 150 (main headphone for gaming and some music)
Ultrasone HFI 780 (some gaming and music)
Asus Xonar Essence STX
As you can see, I am a closed can fan and mainly use my PC for all of my audio. I mainly use this setup for gaming but I also listen to music of course. While this setup is better than anything I have ever owned, I still can't shake the feeling that I am missing something.
Maybe I am just itching for an upgrade but what do you guys think? Would a more expensive pair of headphones give me a better gaming experience? Would an amp help with increasing the soundstage and atmosphere in gaming even though I have an Essence STX?
