Hi guys

I have been going through a lot of threads trying to find out how to connect USB DAC/Amp with my android phone to listen to some good quality music and have miserably failed to find any proper solution.

I currently own a Sennheiser HD 380 PRO and Fiio E7K and the stupid android phone that I have been trying to connect with.

Please help me guys!!!

1.  Test of the Micromax A110 in USB host mode and a USB OTG cable adapter:
Apparently the Micromax A110 is a dual-role USB device, sometimes a USB host, sometimes a USB peripheral.

In order to interact with a USB peripheral like the FiiO E07K, the Micromax A110 should be switched to USB host mode.
It’s the case when a functional Micro-A USB plug (i.e. pin 4 connected to pin 5) is inserted into the Micro USB receptacle of the Micromax A110.

Such a Micro USB plug is one of the two ends of a so-called USB OTG cable adapter (i.e. functional Micro-A USB plug to Standard-A receptacle USB OTG cable adapter).

Micromax A110 >> USB OTG cable adapter >> simple USB peripheral like USB mouse or USB keyboard

2.  Test of the FiiO E07K and the USB cable:
PC or Mac > digital USB audio out >> USB cable provided by FiiO >> FiiO E07K >> headphones

3.  Test of the Micromax A110 + FiiO E07K + headphones:
Download a free trial version of the USB Audio Recorder PRO app to test the Micromax A110 with the FiiO E07K

Micromax A110 using USB Audio Recorder PRO > digital USB audio out >> USB OTG cable adapter + USB cable provided by FiiO >> FiiO E07K >> headphones
